Blackthinking / OCB

OCB, the cigarette paper brand, wanted to generate online content for its customers. But they were subject to many legal limitations for being a brand linked to smoking. So together we created a website that reproduced the world blackthinking, its premium collection. There, interactive content, games and gifts were placed within reach of users. To do this, we designed the characters, built the stage, generated all the site content and programmed it.

The initial idea of the project was to create a site where people could interact with both the characters and the scenario. We liked the idea of being able to create a sense of space one hundred percent real, so we built a huge model of the world Blackthinking. Then we introduced the characters digitally within different scenarios that the world contained so we could have a very physical browsing experience.

The manual process was important for the finishing, because we couldn’t had achieved digitally that same warmth that scenarios finally transmit. We built this world on a circular wooden surface on a wheel system that allowed us to rotate 360 degrees and then the final model to have total control of the stage.
