On this special occasion, we have had the privilege of collaborating closely with the esteemed Summa agency to undertake the exciting challenge of rebranding the television channel of the SEVILLA FC soccer team. This partnership has allowed us to combine our expertise and creativity, resulting in a refreshed and dynamic identity that reflects the club’s rich legacy and forward-looking vision.
SEVILLA FC, a renowned Spanish soccer club based in Seville, proudly competes in LA LIGA, Spain’s top-tier football competition. With a storied history, the club has achieved remarkable success on the European stage, most notably securing the UEFA Europa League title an impressive six times. Beyond this, SEVILLA FC has also earned numerous other accolades, cementing its status as one of Spain’s most celebrated and respected football institutions. This rebranding project aims to honor that prestigious heritage while enhancing the channel’s appeal to fans and viewers worldwide.
SEVILLA FC, an illustrious soccer team founded in 1890, holds a storied legacy that made it a central focus of this project. Our aim was to encapsulate the vibrant spirit of this iconic club from southern Spain, deeply rooted in the culture of Andalusia. To achieve this, we drew inspiration from the region’s rich art and folklore, crafting a brand image that is both distinctive and instantly recognizable.
At the heart of the project lies flamenco, a cultural cornerstone of Seville, which we chose as the guiding theme. This dynamic art form inspired us to create original animations that blend the intensity of its rhythms with the elegance of clean lines and vivid colors. The crescendo of flamenco provided a rhythmic foundation, allowing us to experiment with the pacing of the editing and the flow of the animations. These were skillfully produced in both 3D and 2D formats, resulting in a visually striking representation that honors the club’s heritage while embracing a modern aesthetic.
